Iowa Test of Basic Skills
The Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) measures your child's strengths and weaknesses in the areas of reading, reading comprehension, vocabulary, word analysis, listening, spelling, math concepts, math problem solving and math computation.  The ITBS is administered in September/October in grades 2-7.
Cognitive Abilities Test
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) measures students’ learned reasoning abilities in the three areas most linked to academic success in school: Verbal, Quantitative and Nonverbal. Although its primary goal is to assess students’ reasoning abilities, CogAT can also provide predicted achievement scores when administered with The Iowa Tests.The CogAT test is administered in October for grades 2-7 and March for grade 1.
NYS English Language Arts (ELA), Math and Science Tests
We administer the NYS ELA and Math test in the 4th and 6th grades and the Science test in the 4th and 8th grades.  We utilize the tests results to assess a student's strengths and weaknesses in English Language Arts in order to help our students achieve their highest potential.
